Mark Osborne

Mark Osborne is an accomplished lighting professional with extensive experience in the visual effects industry, currently serving as Head of Department - Lighting at Industrial Light & Magic since May 2014. In this role, Mark has contributed as a Lighting Supervisor on "Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning" and has held positions as Lead Lighting Technical Director for notable projects including "Echo," "Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Pt1," "Napoleon," and "Jurassic World: Dominion." Mark's earlier experience includes key roles at Framestore CFC, where responsibilities encompassed working as Senior Lighting Technical Director on "Jupiter Ascending" and various projects including "Gravity" and "Avatar." Initial career steps were taken at Animal Logic and Framestore, contributing to films such as "Happy Feet" and the "Harry Potter" series. Mark holds a BA(Hons) in Computer Visualisation and Animation from Bournemouth University.
