Scott Richards

Scott Richards is a Senior R&D Engineer at Industrial Light & Magic since February 2020, specializing in virtual production software for Stagecraft LED volumes. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Moving Picture Company, where contributions were made to the Genesis Virtual Production team and the asset pipeline for the 2019 film The Lion King. Additional experience encompasses a position as a Mocap Technician at the University of Portsmouth, and freelance work at Audiomotion Studios. Scott's early career involved voluntary work at FOAM Digital and IT support roles at Littlehampton Academy. Scott holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation from the University of Portsmouth.
