Simon Allen

Simon Allen is an accomplished animation professional with extensive experience across various prestigious companies in the industry. Currently serving as an Associate Animation Supervisor at Industrial Light & Magic, Simon's previous roles include Head of Animation and Layout at Moving Picture Company, where responsibilities encompassed leadership, strategy implementation, and fostering a culture of diversity within the animation department. Simon is a 20th VES Award Winner for Outstanding Animated Character in a Photoreal Feature, recognized for the character “Jeff.” With a solid background in animation from Pixar Animation Studios and teaching experience as a lecturer at Murdoch University, Simon has contributed to numerous high-profile projects including Toy Story 3, Up, and Hocus Pocus 2. Collaboration with industry organizations, such as the Visual Effects Society, further underscores Simon’s dedication to the animation field.
