Ye Cao

Ye Cao is an accomplished Lead Environment Artist at Industrial Light & Magic since July 2016, with a background in various roles including Matte Painter and Environment Artist. Prior experience includes work as an Environment TD and Generalist for the film The Great Wall at Industrial Light & Magic and a tenure at Double Negative from February 2013 to October 2015 as an Environment TD and Matte Painter, specifically utilizing 3D and 2.5D techniques. Earlier in the career, Ye Cao held the position of Matchmove Lead on Les Miserables, while also serving as a Matchmove Artist. Additional experience includes teaching as a 3D Instructor and Artist at IM Innovations, focusing on Cinema 4D. Ye Cao holds a Bachelor of Design from RMIT University and a Diploma in Visual Communication from Temasek Polytechnic.
