Karen Brewington

Karen Brewington, CMA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Karen is currently the Director of Finance at Industrial Physics, starting in August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Controller at HandyTube Corporation from November 2015 to August 2023, and as a Senior Accountant from September 2006 to November 2015. Karen also worked as a Senior Accountant at Pepco Holdings from January 2006 to September 2006. Earlier in their career, they were an Accounting Consultant at The Siegfried Group from August 2003 to December 2005, and an Experienced Auditor at PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS from January 2001 to August 2003.

Karen Brewington, CMA holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, which they obtained between 2022 and 2024. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Delaware State University, graduating between 1996 and 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, they are also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with the certification obtained in August 2016 from the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants).
