Gregory Grimm

Gregory Grimm has a diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Gregory is currently working at Industrial Scientific as a Staff Mechanical Engineer, a role they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at the same company from September 2016 to July 2021, and as a Mechanical Engineer from November 2014 to September 2016.

Before joining Industrial Scientific, Gregory worked at Ardagh Group as a Tooling Design Engineer from June 2013 to October 2014.

Gregory began their career at AGR International Inc as a Mechanical Engineer in May 2010 and worked there until May 2013. In this role, they were responsible for designing machines for quality assurance needs of glass and plastic bottle manufacturers. Gregory used SolidWorks for 3D modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and creating detailed and assembly drawings. Gregory also personally designed and built prototypes of machines, providing support for testing.

Prior to AGR International Inc, Gregory was a Mechanical Engineering Intern at BRUSH Group from December 2008 to April 2010. In this role, they designed new components and tooling for repairing and rebuilding rotors, exciters, and collectors. Gregory also conducted FEA simulations using SolidWorks and performed failure analysis on faulty equipment, overseeing rebuilds to improve efficiency.

Gregory Grimm attended Pittsburgh Brashear High School from 2002 to 2006, where they graduated as the valedictorian. Gregory then pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Grove City College from 2006 to 2010.
