Sherif al Atabany

Sherif Al Atabany has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Sherif is currently working as the MEATR Financial Controller at Industrial Scientific since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Finance Manager MENA at Gilbarco Veeder-Root from April 2019 to February 2023.

Sherif's experience includes working as the Chief Accountant at Global Maritime from July 2011 to June 2014, where they were responsible for ensuring internal control policies, managing banking relationships, and ensuring tax compliance.

Before that, they worked as a Financial Accountant, Cost Controller, and Inventory Clerk at InterContinental Hotels Group from May 2010 to March 2011, January 2009 to April 2010, and August 2007 to December 2008 respectively. In these roles, they handled financial statements preparation, internal control system establishment, monthly profit and loss statement compilation, and inventory management.

Sherif also worked as a Procurement Specialist at Petrotrade from August 2005 to July 2007 and as a Sales Representative at Raya Information Technology from January 2005 to August 2005.

Sherif Al Atabany earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Zagazig University, attending from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Cleopatra language school, obtaining a Thanaweya Amma diploma from 1991 to 1997. Most recently, from 2017 to 2019, Sherif pursued a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
