Hugo Matsuo

Hugo Matsuo is an experienced professional in the fields of innovation and industrial management, currently serving as Director of Innovation and Director of Industry at Indústrias Colombo since March 2005. Previous roles include Production Manager, Research and Development Manager, Project Manager, and Process Engineer. Prior to their tenure at Indústrias Colombo, Hugo worked as a Project Analyst at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, where Hugo focused on the development of precision agricultural seeders, utilizing CAD platforms for prototype design and manufacturing. Additional experience includes roles as Designer and Project Systems Technician at Industria E Comercio De Maquinas Polidryer and an Assistant Operator at JUMBO - Tratamento Térmico e Indústria Mecânica Ltda. Hugo holds several advanced degrees, including an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from Universidade Federal de Viçosa, complemented by a post-graduate program in Business Management at Fundação Dom Cabral.
