Industry City
Nick Shears has a diverse work experience. Nick started their career as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar at the University of Turku in 2009. After that, they worked as a Planning and Policy Intern at Friends of Hudson River Park in 2010. In 2011, they interned at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. Nick then joined Edison Properties in 2012 as an Analyst and worked there until 2015. From 2015 onwards, they held the position of Director of Leasing and Marketing at Hugo Neu Corporation. Currently, they are serving as the VP Leasing at Industry City, starting from August 2022.
Nick Shears earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Eckerd College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Urban Planning with a focus on Housing and Economic Development at New York University from 2010 to 2012.
