Larry Avila is an experienced journalist, writer, and editor with a diverse background in various media roles. Currently serving as an Editor at Industry Dive since November 2022, Larry has also worked as a freelance writer and editor since 2013, developing and promoting content for multiple platforms. Previous positions include Managing Editor at Northwest Indiana Business Magazine, Business Editor at The Times of Northwest Indiana, and Senior Communications Specialist at Milwaukee Public Schools. Larry possesses strong skills in content development, management of editorial teams, and community engagement, backed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Central Michigan University and a leadership certificate from the University of Nevada, Reno.
