Marco Grazia

Global Director, Child Protection & Education in Emergencies at INEE

Marco has over 20 years of professional experience managing and supervising complex programmes focused on education and child protection in emergency settings, early reconstruction phases and in developing contexts for various NGOs and for the Italian Governmental Aid Agency. In his career Marco has supported EiE programming in Uganda, DRC, Ethiopia, Lake Chad Basin, Mali, South Sudan, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, OPT.

He currently leads the Global Technical Unit of World Vision for Child Protection and Education in Emergencies, ensuring WVI disaster responses are timely, effective & appropriate. In his current role Marco leads, drive and facilitate ongoing development and implementation of WVI child protection and education in emergency strategy, overseeing the quality and integration of programming, in alignment with global evidence-based practices. Before his international career Marco was a social worker in charge of children in conflict with the law. He graduated in Philosophy of Language and holds a Master degree in Education for international cooperation.
