Mark Chapple

Mark joined in February 2020 as a consultant across INEE & The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, working on collaboration between child protection and education in emergencies.

Mark has over 14 years’ experience managing large-scale programmes with major international NGOs, primarily on Education in Emergencies, but also programme development and quality, as well as inter-agency coordination – most recently as Head of No Lost Generation covering education, child protection and youth engagement across the Syria response region. Prior to international work, Mark was teaching in one of the most deprived areas of the UK, giving him first-hand experience of the power of education to transform the lives of children and young people. Mark is based in Cardigan, west Wales, UK.
