Liliana Paulo is an accomplished anesthesiologist and medical trainer with extensive experience in trauma care and emergency medicine. Currently serving as a Formadora do Curso de Equipas de Trauma at ULS de Coimbra and an anesthesiologist at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra, Liliana also holds the position of Second Secretary of the General Assembly for the Portuguese Society of Anesthesiology. Committed to advanced medical training, Liliana is involved in the Ianda Guiné Saùdi Project at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and trains emergency medical responders at INEM. With a Master's degree in Medicine from Universidade de Coimbra and further education from Masaryk University Brno and Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Coimbra, Liliana has cultivated a rich background in anesthesiology, having previously practiced at Centro Hospitalar Tondela Viseu and as an anesthesiology resident at CHUC. Additionally, a dedicated member of the National Karate School since 1999, Liliana has contributed as a collaborator to Conexão Lusófona and served as Vice President of the Portuguese Trainee Network within the Portuguese Society of Anesthesiology.
