Bethany Goodwin has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Bethany started their career as a Volunteer Ecologist at the Mammalian Research Institute, where they collected radio tracking data for wild boar. Bethany then worked as a Data Analyst as an Independent Researcher before taking on a role as an Event and Gig Manager at The Fringe - Alternative Music Society. In this position, they successfully developed the society club and managed all aspects of event management.
Bethany then worked as a Volunteer Molecular Ecologist at CEH Lancaster, where they conducted genetic research on copepods in five lakes. After that, they worked as a Solar Sales Rep at SES, presenting information on solar energy and conducting home surveys. Bethany left this role due to issues with management.
Bethany then entered the sales field, starting as an International Sales Administrator and later becoming an International Sales Representative at Power Link (UK), a manufacturer of diesel generators. Following that, they worked as a Sales Engineer and Estimator at Interpower International Ltd, where they processed customer tender specifications and designed generator systems.
Bethany's experience in the energy industry continued as a Project Sales Engineer at SSE Enterprise Energy Solutions, specializing in energy management and data analytics. Bethany then joined E.ON Control Solutions Ltd as a Sales Manager, responsible for the MES North division.
Most recently, Bethany has been working at Inenco Group as an Account Manager, primarily handling NHS clients. Bethany advocates for client needs within the company and manages accounts for the Northern NHS while also supporting the delivery team in the South.
Bethany Goodwin completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Environment, Economics, and Ecology at the University of York from 2006 to 2009. Bethany further pursued their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Research degree in Ecology and Environmental Management from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their academic achievements, Bethany Goodwin also obtained several certifications including "Strategic Selling with Perspective" and "Professional Selling Skills" from Miller Heiman Group in November 2019 and August 2019 respectively. Bethany also received the "CSCS Academically Qualified Person" certification from CITB in February 2017.
