Robert Hooker has extensive work experience in the plastics industry. Robert began their career at Visteon in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Product Development/Manufacturing Engineer for interior systems. In 2008, they joined BASF as an Applications Development Leader, specializing in Styrenic products for customer-driven applications. In 2012, they transitioned to Styrolution (a joint venture between BASF and Ineos) as an Application Development Leader, working on the development of Styrenic-based plastics. Later that year, they moved to INEOS Styrolution America LLC, where they held various roles including Product Manager and Business Manager. Currently, they serve as the Business Director at the company.
Robert Hooker attended the University of Michigan from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Robert then went on to study at the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2004 to 2007, earning a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
