Alex Kelly

Alex Kelly has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Commercial, Europe at INEOS since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Business Development & Sustainability Manager at INEOS from January 2021 to September 2023.

Before joining INEOS, Alex worked at bp for more than a decade. Their roles at bp included Sustainability & Technology Manager from February 2019 to January 2021, Senior Product Manager from March 2017 to February 2019, Business Transformation Manager from April 2016 to March 2017, Senior Business Analyst from August 2014 to April 2016, Senior Process Engineer from September 2013 to August 2014, Major projects lead process engineer from September 2011 to September 2013, and Chemical Engineer - Manufacturing & Operations from September 2009 to September 2011.

Alex started their career as an Intern - Chemical engineer at AstraZeneca from September 2007 to September 2008. In this position, they provided process engineering technical support and conducted experiments for drug development.

Alex Kelly obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering with Industrial Experience from the University of Birmingham between 2004 and 2009.
