Gunter Pauwels

Gunter Pauwels has extensive experience in operations and maintenance management within the energy and utilities sector. Currently serving as Operations Manager at INEOS since April 2019, Gunter previously held significant roles at ENGIE Electrabel as Adjunct Afdelingshoofd Maintenance I&C, overseeing team operations for optimal facility availability, and at Rosiers & De Ridder as Project Manager for new construction and project development, responsible for all phases from feasibility studies to project delivery. Prior experience includes Maintenance Manager at E.ON Benelux, focusing on reliability and maintenance activities across multiple domains, and Mechanical Maintenance Manager at Electrabel, where Gunter managed mechanical maintenance departments and major overhauls of power plants. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven and training in Industrial Sciences from Technische Scholen Mechelen.
