Ian Coates

Ian Coates is a retired General Sales Manager from Ineos PolyOlefins, having worked in various managerial roles in the chemical industry since 1987. They began their career at Solvay Chemicals Ltd, where they managed Polymer sales activities for the UK and Ireland, before moving to international roles at Solvay Brussels and BP. Ian later held positions at Ineos and Innovene, culminating in a long tenure as Sector Manager at Ineos PolyOlefins. They graduated with a BSc in Joint Honours, Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Nottingham and are currently enjoying retirement.
