John Moran

John Moran serves as a Non Executive Director at the Scottish Shipping Benevolent Association SSBACharity since March 2023. John brings extensive experience in marine operations and management from his role as Export Plant Manager at INEOS, where responsibilities include overseeing operating performance of various upper tier COMAH sites and marine terminals since June 2019. Additional positions at INEOS included Marine Operations Manager and Marine Supervisor. Previous experience encompasses roles at Teekay, Chevron, Maersk, and BP, focusing on marine operations and deck officer duties aboard LNG and crude oil tankers. Moran holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Maritime Operations from the University of Plymouth, completed in July 2023.
