Pol Demeure

Pol Demeure has extensive work experience in project management and engineering within the chemical industry. Pol began their career at Ethyl Corporation in 1990 as a Project Engineer and then moved to Albemarle in 1994, where they continued their role as a Project Engineer. In 1996, Demeure joined BP as a Project Manager and later became a Project Coordinator. Pol then joined Ineos in 2003 as a TAR Manager and worked in this position until 2013. Additionally, Demeure held various roles at Ineos, including Major Projects Coordinator and Projects Coordinator from 2006 to 2009 and from 2005 to 2013, respectively. Most recently, they held the position of Lead Project Engineer for the Redstone Project at Ineos from 2015 to 2020 and the Lead Project Engineer for the new LAO Plant from 2014 (ongoing).

Pol Demeure attended Faculté Polytechnique de Mons from 1978 to 1983, studying Civil Architect Engineering. In 2005, they also briefly attended EPM Business School, where they pursued a Master's degree in Management.
