René Zoetekouw

René Zoetekouw has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. René began their career at DSM in 1989, where they started as a Process Control Engineer and later transitioned into Project Management. During their time at DSM, they worked on various CAPEX projects in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Canada. In 2006, they joined Shell as a Project Manager, overseeing capital projects, revamps, and environmental impact studies. Then, in 2009, they moved to Yara International, where they held several roles, including Head of YPO (Yara Project Office), responsible for managing large-scale engineering and construction projects. Most recently, in 2018, they joined INEOS as the Director of Engineering and Technology O&P North.

René Zoetekouw attended HAN University of Applied Sciences from 1986 to 1989, where they studied Electrotechnics and Control Technics.
