Steve Young is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and venture capital. Currently serving as Chairperson at Inephany since April 2025 and as a Venture Partner at Amadeus Capital Partners since September 2023, Steve also held the position of Advisor at Martlet Capital from June 2022 to April 2025. Previously, Steve worked at Apple as a Senior Member of Technical Staff on the Siri Team from September 2015 to November 2019. Additionally, Steve had a long tenure at the University of Cambridge as a Professor of Information Engineering from October 1984 until December 2017. Steve holds both an MA and a PhD in Information Engineering from the Cambridge University Engineering Department, which were earned between 1969 and 1976.
