Charbel Rizk

Charbel Rizk, PhD, is an accomplished founder and CEO of Oculi since March 2019, also serving as Chief Technology Officer. In parallel, Charbel holds positions as Associate Research Professor, S&T/Innovation Consultant, and Entrepreneur at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering since November 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Innovation Lead, Principal Systems Engineer, and Principal Research Scholar at JHU/APL & JHU/ECE from August 2001 to October 2016. Charbel's career began at Boeing Douglas as a Senior Systems Engineer from May 1999 to July 2001, where Charbel led avionics and flight management software testing for unmanned combat air vehicles. Additionally, Charbel worked at Boeing North American as a Senior Systems Engineer from June 1997 to April 1999, serving as principal investigator on critical production issues.
