Walt Johnson

Walt Johnson has over 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Walt began their career in 2001 as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University where they studied and developed autopilot hardware and control systems used in the Multiple Agent Intelligent Coordination & Control (MAGICC) Lab. In 2004, they co-founded and became a Principal Engineer of Procerus Technologies, which commercialized and brought to market the Kestrel autopilot drone flight control systems. In 2010, they joined IMSAR as a Systems Engineer. In 2014, they founded Inertial Sense, Inc. and Inertial Sense, LLC. At Inertial Sense, they have the vision of making precision and autonomous movement so easy that it can be included in most any type of device. Procerus Technologies was acquired by Lockheed-Martin in January 2012.

Walt Johnson attended Brigham Young University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
