Bijan Sanii

President, CEO & Co-Founder at INETCO Systems Limited

With more than 30 years of experience as a technology industry executive, Bijan Sanii has had a front-row seat to the evolution of BC’s tech sector. He was a director of CEO association ACETECH for many years and helped guide the gaming and creative technology industry as former vice-chair of NewMedia BC, (now DigiBC).

Bijan served for 6 years as a director of the Dr. Peters AIDS Foundation and remains a voting member of the Foundation. He was also a founding partner of B.C. Social Venture Partners and served as a director of the organization for many years.

Bijan was born in London, U.K. and graduated with honors from the Polytechnic of Central London (now the University of Westminster) with a B.A. in Economics. In the 80s, he led Infomax Computers, a value-added reseller. In 1997, Bijan joined Infowave Software. He was later appointed Infowave’s Chief Operating Officer and CEO, driving Infowave’s IPO and strategic partnership agreements with Intel Corp, Compaq Computer Corporation, and other technology industry leaders.

Before joining INETCO Systems Ltd. where he is President and CEO, Bijan was Executive Chair at UB Video, which developed one of the key enabling technologies for video over IP. He provided leadership and guidance that culminated in the acquisition of the company by Scientific-Atlanta (a Cisco company).
