Shawn Ammons

Shawn Ammons is an experienced disciplemaking coach and leader in ministry, currently serving on the National Leadership Team for Sonlife as a missionary with InFaith since March 2017. As the Founder and President of Extreme Encounters Inc. since April 2006, Shawn has dedicated efforts to training and mentoring disciplemakers, organizing short-term missions and service projects. Previous roles include serving as Student Ministry Director for the MidWest District - EFCA and Student Ministry Pastor at West EFC, where Shawn emphasized a lifestyle of disciplemaking. Shawn's early career included impactful positions such as Youth & Family Pastor at Emmanuel Church and Trainer & Coach at Sonlife Ministries. Education credentials include a Master's in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Sterling College.
