Nessa Lynch

Nessa Lynch is a Professor of Law and Matheson Lecturership in Law, Innovation and Technology at University College Cork, Ireland, where they conduct research and teach about the intersections of law and technology, with a particular focus on biometric surveillance and AI regulation. Nessa serves as a member of the Policing and Community Safety Authority in Ireland, overseeing the performance of An Garda Síochána, and is also part of an expert panel on emergent technologies with the NZ Police. Additionally, Nessa works as a Research Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington.
