Amanda Jezek serves as the Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Government Relations at the Infectious Diseases Society of America, a position held since July 2011. In this role, Amanda leads policy development and advocacy for a membership of over 10,000 physicians and scientists, focusing on critical issues such as antimicrobial resistance and public health. Prior to this, Amanda was the Deputy Director of Federal Affairs at March of Dimes, where responsibilities included lobbying and shaping policy on access to care. Amanda's career also includes an Associate position at Mental Health America and roles as Press Secretary and Legislative Assistant for Congresswoman Grace Napolitano. Amanda earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Dartmouth College in 2001.
