Chris Busky, CAE, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Infectious Diseases Society of America since July 2016. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions at the Heart Rhythm Society from December 2005 to April 2016, including Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, where responsibilities included overseeing significant revenue sources and participating in strategic advisory initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Association Management Group, Vice President of Business Operations at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, and Director of Administration & Information Systems at the Manufactured Housing Institute. Chris holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Frostburg State University.
