Todd Vento

Todd Vento, MD, MPH, FACP, FIDSA, currently serves on the IDWeek Planning Committee and chairs the Mentorship & Recruiting Committee for the Infectious Diseases Society of America. Vento holds multiple positions at Intermountain Healthcare as Medical Director for both Intermountain Connect and TeleHealth Infectious Diseases, while also co-directing the Global Medicine Course at the University of Utah School of Medicine. With experience as an Associate Professor in Global Health at UT Health San Antonio, Vento has a notable background in military and public health, including roles as an Attending Physician in Infectious Disease for the US Army and Senior Infectious Diseases Advisor during the Ebola outbreak response in Liberia. Vento's academic credentials include a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins and a Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University.
