Roberto Sicconi

CSO at Infermedica

Roberto Sicconi is currently the CSO at Infermedica, a position they have held for 8 years and 9 months. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of TeleLingo for 8 years and 7 months. Roberto has also been an Advisor to the Board at SoundBite Inc. for 4 years and 3 months.

Roberto has always been interested in technology and its potential to help people. This led him to found dreyev, a company that offers an in-vehicle “digital copilot” device that evaluates drivers for risky behavior. Through Computer Vision and Machine Learning, the Dreyev system analyzes driver conditions such as head pose and eyelid closure to detect distracted or drowsy driving and issues real-time alerts in the case of dangerous conditions.

After 5 years and 7 months, Roberto left dreyev to co-found Infermedica, where they have been using AI technology to develop digital health solutions and clinical decision support tools. Their work at Infermedica has helped countless people receive the treatment they need and has made a positive impact on the healthcare industry as a whole.

Roberto Sicconi studied Electronics Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano from 1976 to 1985, and then went on to study at the Liceo Scientifico Alessandro Volta, where they obtained their Maturita' Scientifica.
