Shaokang Wang has over 10 years of work experience. In 2009, they began their career as a Summer Analyst at China Life Asset Management Company. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Analyst at Bain & Company. In 2012, they worked as a Marketing Research Principal (Part Time) at Stride Coach Running, and as a Data Scientist at Anthem Marketing Solutions. In 2015, they became a Co-Founder at Infervision (Beijing Promotion Technology Co., Ltd.). At Anthem Marketing Solutions, they built and presented logistic customer acquisition models (binary & multinomial) and conducted analysis across online, mobile, direct mail, telemarketing, email, and radio channels for a global retail client. Shaokang also built and presented financial time series models to predict weekly/monthly product category sales with POS data for a CPG client, led a project on evaluating loyalty programs for a multinational fast food corporation, initiated customer segmentation analysis with data mining techniques and cluster analysis, and was actively involved in client-facing presentations, new client development and case study projects.

Shaokang Wang attended Beijing Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. Shaokang then attended the University of Chicago from 2010 to 2012, where they earned an M.S. in Statistics.
