Abed Mohamadzade

Abed Mohamadzade is a physicist currently employed at INFICON since December 2022, following a comprehensive academic and professional trajectory in physics. Abed served as Head Teaching Assistant and Instructor of Record at The University of Georgia from August 2016 to December 2022, where responsibilities included training graduate teaching assistants and managing introductory physics courses. Abed's research experience encompasses gas-phase pump-probe photoelectron spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, with a strong background in experimental research, equipment maintenance, and laser systems. Prior research roles were held at Islamic Azad University and the University of Tehran, culminating in a PhD in Physics from The University of Georgia and advanced degrees from the University of Tehran and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
