Holland Smith serves as the Director of Data Science, Director of Technical Marketing, and previously as Program Manager for Analytics and Equipment Integration at INFICON since its acquisition of Final Phase Systems in October 2018. Prior experience includes managing semiconductor manufacturing improvement projects and serving as a Senior Project Manager at Final Phase Systems from 2016 to 2018. At Intel, Holland worked as a Senior Process Engineer, specializing in ALD thin film deposition processes for transistor scaling. Holland's earlier roles included research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on the electrical characterization of semiconductor materials, and an undergraduate research assistantship at UC Berkeley. Holland holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a BA with Honors in Slavic Languages and Literature from Stanford University and a BS with Honors in Engineering Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
