Anand Prabhu Subramanian has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to present. Anand Prabhu began their career in 2004 as a PhD Candidate at Stony Brook University, where they worked on improving wireless capacity and mobile connectivity in wireless access networks. In 2006, they had a Research Intern role at Bell Labs- Lucent Technologies. Anand Prabhu then had Research Intern roles at Bell Labs, Alcatel-Lucent in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, they also had a Research Intern role at Thomson Paris Research Lab (Technicolor), where they performed a detailed measurement study to experimentally characterize the performance of multi-sector antennas with commodity 802. 11 hardware in dense wireless deployments. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Member of Technical Staff at Nokia Bell Labs. In 2013, they became a Research Staff Member at IBM Research. In 2015, they became Co-Founder & CEO of Inflect Technologies, which specialises in deriving intelligence by parsing large-scale visual content such as photos and videos using proprietary deep learning and artificial intelligence technology.
Anand Prabhu Subramanian obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy between 2000 and 2004. Anand Prabhu then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University from 2004 to 2007. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University from 2004 to 2009.
