Elska Kolu

Elska Kolu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

In 2019, Elska co-founded Infine, a tech startup that focuses on sustainability. Elska held the roles of Co-Founder and Co-CSO, and was responsible for developing an automated sustainability evaluation tool and helping companies establish a data model for sustainability.

Prior to that, in 2018, Elska founded Ethereal Management, an independent artist agency and community specializing in electronic music. Elska prioritized supporting artists' creative visions and developing their careers, while also providing booking services for event organizers and promoters.

From 2017 to 2019, Elska worked as the Head of Production for Tiksi Block Party, the first-ever block party held in Vantaa, Finland. Elska played a crucial role in organizing the event, which attracted over 3000 people and involved a team of over 200 volunteers.

Elska also has experience in stage management, having worked for Tomaatteja! Tomaatteja! Comedy Festival and Helsinki Comedy Festival from 2016 to 2018.

Additionally, Elska gained event production experience as a Freelance Producer at Artlab Productions in 2017 and as an Event Producer at Etherwerks from 2015 to 2017. At Etherwerks, they planned and produced various events related to electronic music, including a successful block party and a pop-up record store and cafe.

Furthermore, Elska worked as a Production Assistant at Sam's Comedy Club Oy/Backstage Comedy Club from 2014 to 2015, and as a Professional Counselor at Riihenaika Oy in 2015.

From 2018 to 2019, Elska attended Arcada University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Music Management.

In 2016, they attended Helsinki Business College Oy and obtained a vocational qualification in business and administration, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.

During the same year, they also briefly studied Cultural Management at Humak University of Applied Sciences.

From 2013 to 2015, Elska attended Laurea University of Applied Sciences and pursued a degree in Social Work.

In 2006, they attended Culinary School Perho and studied to become a restaurant cook.

Elska completed their high school education at Eira High School for adults from 1998 to 2002, obtaining a High School diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Elska obtained an Alcohol Passport from the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira) in November 2010, as well as a Hygiene Passport from the Finnish Food Safety Authority Evira in January 2005.
