Markus Foerste

Markus Foerste is a highly experienced professional in the field of automotive technology and product development, with over two decades of expertise. At Infineon Technologies, from January 2003 to July 2024, Markus held various senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Automotive Sense and Control, as well as Senior Director and Director of the Center of Excellence. Prior to this, Markus served as Director of Product Engineering at Osram Opto Semiconductors from September 2008 to September 2011, and as Director of Product Development at Qimonda Flash GmbH from March 2005 to July 2008. Markus holds a Doctorate in Physics from Universität Heidelberg and a Vordiplom in Physics from Universität des Saarlandes.
