Stefan Mendel

Stefan Mendel is an experienced professional in the field of electronic engineering, currently serving as Director and Head of Product Definition at Infineon Technologies since August 2018, where previous roles included Principal Engineer in both Product Definition and Concept Engineering. Prior to this, Stefan worked at NXP Semiconductors Austria from January 2011 to July 2018, holding positions such as Principal Digital Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading the digital contactless interface of NFC transceivers, and earlier roles focused on digital design and pre- and post-silicon verification. Additional experience includes consulting in digital signal processing and academic roles at Graz University of Technology, where research focused on digital synthesizers for fast frequency-hopping systems. Stefan holds a Doctorate in Electronic Engineering from Graz University of Technology and a Dipl. Ing. in Telematik from Technische Universität Graz.
