David Ohlemacher

David Ohlemacher has a diverse and extensive work experience. David currently holds the position of Principal DevOps Engineer at Infinidat since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior DevOps Engineer at Infinidat from April 2019 to April 2022. Before joining Infinidat, David worked at IBM as a DevOps Cloud Architect from June 2018 to April 2019 and as a Senior Cloud DevOps Developer from August 2017 to June 2018. David also served as a Senior Watson Tools Developer at IBM from January 2016 to August 2017.

David's earlier roles include working at Verizon Terremark as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, where they handled DevOps responsibilities, automation engineering, and software development for the Verizon Cloud. David was with Verizon Terremark from May 2015 to January 2016.

Prior to that, David worked at Verizon Terremark as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, focusing on developing a Python-based data center monitoring system and providing support for data center installation software. David held this position from May 2014 to May 2015.

David's work experience also includes being a Principal Software Engineer at Scientific Solutions, Inc., where they played a key role in developing a large-scale distributed sonar system and designing a control system for a submersible station keeping robot. David was with the company from March 2005 to April 2014.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Software Engineer at BBN technologies Co.,Ltd BBN Tech, and as an Electronics Engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. David also served as a Nuclear Reactor Operator, Submarine Qualified in the US Navy from August 1985 to August 1991.

David Ohlemacher attended the University of Connecticut from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
