Maher Damak, PhD, is the CEO and Co-Founder of Infinite Cooling, a company focused on commercializing water-recovery technology developed during their PhD work. The company's mission is to tackle water scarcity worldwide by assisting industrial plants. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018. Maher also held positions as a Research Intern at Solar Euromed in 2013 and as an Engineering Intern at Empresas Lipigas in 2012. Additionally, they volunteered at the Centre Social Asphalte from 2010 to 2011.

Maher Damak, PhD, has an extensive education history that includes multiple degrees in various fields of study. Maher began their academic journey in 2008, attending Lycée Janson de Sailly, where they focused on mathematics and physics.

In 2010, Damak enrolled at École Polytechnique, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in energy. This program lasted four years, ending in 2014.

Following their time at École Polytechnique, Damak joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2013. Maher completed a Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering at MIT, with their studies concluding in 2015.

Damak continued their educational pursuits at MIT and went on to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in mechanical engineering. Maher dedicated three years to this program, graduating in 2018.

Throughout their academic journey, Damak has developed a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, energy, and mechanical engineering, showcasing their commitment to interdisciplinary education in these fields.
