Karen C. Houghton is an experienced professional with a career spanning over two decades. Karen C. began their career in 2002 as a Retreats Director at the YMCA, where they were responsible for recruiting business, performing board presentations, maintaining and building positive public relations, and balancing financial budgets. Karen C. then moved on to become a Consultant and Counselor at Hope Counseling Center/Family Counseling Associates in 2004. In 2006, they took on the role of Business Consultant at Golden Coaching and Consulting, where they were responsible for organizational assessments, coaching, triads, mediation, and team building. That same year, they also became the Director at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Co., where they were responsible for all marketing and branding initiatives. In 2007, Karen founded the Do Good Initiative, a 501c3 whose mission is to invest in sustainable village projects in rural coffee communities in Rwanda. In 2012, they became the Marketing Manager at Pardot, where they created strategic content to meet marketing goals and sourced opportunities to encourage thought leadership. In 2013, they became the Vice President at Atlanta Tech Village, where they were responsible for developing the culture and resources needed for the 300+ technology startups and 1000+ members in the space. In 2018, they became a Venture Partner at Atlanta Ventures. Most recently, in 2021, Karen became the CEO and Founder of Infinite Giving, an award winning modern investment platform for nonprofits.

Karen C. Houghton obtained their Master's degree in Psychology from Richmont Graduate University between 2004 and 2006. Karen C. also obtained a Bachelor of Science- Graduated Cum Laude from Berry College between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, they obtained a Series 65 certification from FINRA in August 2021.
