Jon Blum

Jon Blum began their career in 1997 as a Manager at State Farm, where they co-developed centralized technology support services teams and processes for 20,000+ agency locations across the US, and operational "after hours" claims support teams. Jon also led key contact strategies for the State Farm Virtual Banking initiatives, and partnered with internal marketing and advertising around a national car insurance business drive. In the same year, they also began working at Carlson Wagonlit Travel as a Sr. Manager, developing top client financial and experience reporting and supporting infrastructure for clear internal visibility and overall better business performance. Jon also co-created performance based incentive programs and methodology for over 1,000 travel agents in 12 locations with double digit improvement occurring during the first month and through their tenure.

In 2001, Jon Blum began working at American Express Financial Advisors as a Data and Reporting Architect - Brokerage. Jon developed Reporting strategy and executed real-time interim solution for 3 brokerage houses (3,000 employees/3 locations) which showed immediate service level and sales lifts of 15% and 45% respectively. Jon also identified $5M+ back office optimization work through better line of sight to end to end process.

In 2002, Jon Blum began working at Best Buy as a Director Sales Development - Multichannel. Jon led measurable, organic, sales initiatives into alternative retail channels (phone, chat, social, mobile) through vendor partnerships, new value prop development, and internal marketing and advertising relationships. Jon created $300M+ in product and services sales with zero budget support up front, which led to key holiday strategies, and new long term operating strategies for company growth.

In 2009, Jon Blum co-founded Infinite Green, where they served as Chief Illuminator. Jon was an opportunity finder and experience sharer, as well as a business growth accelerator. Jon also served as a Piper Jaffrey, JP Morgan and Craig-Hallum Capital Group advisory leader in the cloud technology industry and investment support arenas. Jon was responsible for market level insights, strategic outlooks, and vertical company analysis.

In 2018, Jon Blum began working at Alteon Health as CIO.

Jon Blum completed their Bachelor of Science Program in Chemistry and Math at the University of Minnesota from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they attended Mentor High School from 1984 to 1986. Jon also holds a Six Sigma - Green Belt certification.
