Paul Opela

Paul Opela has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Paul currently holds the position of Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at IGI Cybersecurity, where they started in August 2021.

Prior to their current role, Paul spent over six years at FTT Manufacturing, starting in October 2015 as a Controller. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting and finance, including budgeting, corporate insurance, and banking relationships. Paul also oversaw the Human Resources department and made key decisions regarding employee benefit plans. Additionally, Paul served as the administrator of the corporate 401(k) Plan.

Before joining FTT Manufacturing, Paul worked at Calero Software, LLC for two years from July 2013 to September 2015. Paul's earlier career includes various roles at Calero Software, LLC, including Accounting Manager from December 1997 to December 2010, where they managed accounting staff and generated financial statements, and Cost Accounting Supervisor from May 1996 to December 1997, where they maintained the company's standard costing system.

Before joining Calero Software, Paul worked at Myers Community Hospital as a Staff Accountant from January 1992 to January 1993, where they maintained the general ledger and prepared financial statements, and at Cohoes Savings Bank as a Staff Accountant from December 1990 to December 1991, where they compiled financial statements and assisted in the preparation of the bank's annual budget.
