John Rutherford is a multifaceted musician and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the music industry and hospitality. As co-owner of The Cadieux Cafe since January 2019, John has helped create a vibrant space featuring featherbowling and a selection of Belgian beers. John's role as founder and CEO of Brass Jar Music, established in 2000, focuses on music production and artist management for diverse musical talents, including the renowned Motor City Horns. Additionally, John serves on the Board of Directors for the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce and has a long-standing partnership with Infinity and Ovation Yacht Charters. As a member and music director for the Motor City Horns and Alexander Zonjic, John has collaborated with notable artists across various genres. Education includes a Master of Music in Contemporary Improvisation from the University of Michigan and degrees in Music Management and Trombone Performance.
