Michal Drobot

Technology Fellow

Michal Drobot is a highly experienced technology professional with a strong background in game development and graphics programming. Currently serving as the Studio Head at Infinity Ward Poland since November 2017, Michal also holds the title of Technology Fellow at Infinity Ward, with expertise as a Rendering Engine Architect for the Call of Duty franchise, including titles such as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Previous roles include 3D Programmer and Tech Lead at Ubisoft Montréal, contributing to projects like Far Cry 4, and Senior Tech Coder at Guerrilla Games, with a focus on graphics technologies for Killzone 4. Additional experience encompasses positions at Reality Pump, where roles ranged from Visual Technical Director to 3D Character Artist, as well as academic contributions as a lecturer at the European Academy of Games. Michal earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computer Science at Jagiellonian University in 2010.
