Nakita Rao, M.A.

Nakita Rao, M.A. has a diverse work experience. Nakita started their career in 2016 as an English Teacher for Charlotte International Education. In 2017, they took on a Research Assistant role at McGill University, where they conducted literature reviews and analyzed and compared study subjects. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher for the English Montreal School Board. During this time, they prepared and implemented lesson plans and provided individualized and small group support. In 2020, they became an Analyst at Willis Towers Watson, where they prepared moderately complex benefit calculations and trust instructions. In 2021, they took on a Functional Developer role at Equisoft and a Director of Applications role at infinityQ Technology Inc, where they researched, formulated, and documented key applications to the firm’s hardware. In 2022, they became an Ambassador for Monday Girl.

Nakita Rao, M.A. has a comprehensive educational history. Nakita began their educational journey in 2005 at Collège Esther-Blondin, where they completed their high school education in 2011. Nakita then attended Vanier College, where they obtained their CEGEP in Sciences in 2013. Following this, they attended Concordia University, where they earned their Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics in 2017. Nakita then attended McGill University and obtained their Master's degree in Teaching and Learning Mathematics in 2018. Most recently, they attended Université du Québec à Montréal, where they earned their Master of Science in Mathematics in 2021.
