Jianbing Chen

Dr. Chen has more than 25 years of research and development experience in controlled drug delivery, focused on designing and developing novel sustained drug delivery systems. Developing systems utilizing prodrugs, polymeric microspheres, transdermal delivery, drug eluting stents and ocular delivery systems, Dr. Chen has numerous granted U.S and international patents and was on the development team that led to three FDA approved drug products. Dr. Chen received his BS Degree of Pharmacy from Nanjing College of Pharmacy and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceuticals from the University of Heidelberg.
