Cuie Chen

Cuie Chen is a Senior Scientist at InflaRx N.V., focusing on project management for pre-clinical studies of small molecule drugs since December 2023. Prior to this role, Cuie Chen served as a Senior Scientist at Sysmex America, Inc., where responsibilities included the development of IVD assays for biomarker detection from September 2022 to November 2023. Cuie Chen also worked as a Research Investigator at the University of Michigan, developing a fluorescent probe-based toolset for studying HIV viral latency and activation from September 2020 to September 2022. Additional experience includes a position as a Research Scientist at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where Cuie Chen discovered proteins with stem cell-specific functions from April 2015 to August 2020, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan, investigating niche signaling effects on stem cell orientation from March 2011 to March 2015. Cuie Chen holds a PhD in Chemical Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University.
