David Owusu-Antwi

David Owusu-Antwi has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. David is currently working as a Software Engineer at Infleqtion since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Super.tech starting from September 2021.

In 2020, David worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at EPiQC (University of Chicago) where they performed numerical optimization using IBM Qiskit (Python) and applied error-mitigation techniques for quantum device simulations.

David gained experience as a Quality Engineering Intern at General Dynamics Mission Systems in 2019, where they developed Python graphical user interface (GUI) and communicated the benefits of data warehouse maintenance to senior leadership.

In 2018, David worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Biomechatronics Group at MIT Media Lab, where they contributed to MATLAB software development for virtual prototyping of prosthetic socket designs and addressed discrepancies in device quality. David also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where they prototyped a haptic wearable with temperature and pressure cues.

In 2017, they interned as an Undergraduate Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where they developed a MATLAB GUI for real-time analysis of laser beam profile data.

David completed their graduate studies at the University of Chicago from 2019 to 2021.
