Dr. William Clark

Vice President of Quantum Development at Infleqtion

Dr. William Clark has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Dr. William started their career as an Associate Researcher at JILA in 1992 and worked there until 1997. Dr. William then joined Hughes as a Senior Systems/Software Engineer from 1997 to 1999. After that, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Raytheon from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, they joined Motorola Solutions as a Member of the Technical Staff, Systems Engineer before moving to General Dynamics Mission Systems, where they served as a Senior Engineering Fellow and Director of Quantum Laboratory from 2001 to 2022. Currently, Dr. Clark is the Vice President of Quantum Development at ColdQuanta, starting from September 2022.

Dr. William Clark has a strong educational background in physics. Dr. William earned their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, completing their undergraduate studies from 1987 to 1992. Dr. William then went on to pursue further education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Master's degree in Physics from 1992 to 1995. Dr. Clark continued their academic journey at the same institution, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from 1992 to 1998.
